To get started with web feeds, you're going to need a feed reader.

Your feed reader is the site or app that takes all the feeds you’ve subscribed to and brings them together into one place. It does the hard work of checking for updates, saving items for later, and letting you see the content of all your favourite sites at once.

As you add more and more feeds to your preferred feed reader, your whole experience of the internet changes.  Your feed reader will become your one-stop-shop for keeping up to date on all your favourite things.  You won't have to go and visit a dozen sites to catch up - your reader will do it all for you.

There are feed readers that live on the web, as well as feed readers for iOS, Android and your desktop. 

Feed readers cost anywhere from really cheap to completely free.  Try a few and pick one that suits your style!
